ELAN carry forward the spirit of co-operation they had experienced into the professional world. The aspiration is to bring European landscape architects closer together, by sharing personal experience through workshops and social events.
Hello,
I am a Student enrolled in the Landscape Architecture class, in the Young Scholars Program, at University of Maryland this summer. We have been given an assignment to interview people on the Land8Lounge social networking site, in three different categories; domestic, (to the U.S.), professionals, international professionals, and either domestic or international students.
If you would be so kind to take a few minutes to answer three of the following questions;
1. What types of projects are you working on in your country?
2. When given a project from which cultures do you draw inspiration? Does your country have a unique style?
3. How does Landscape Architecture in your country differ from countries you have traveled?
4. Is landscape a popular profession in your country? How much need is there for Landscape Architecture in your country?
5. Have you ever worked with a Landscape Architect from another country? What was that like?
6. What is your favorite built landscape architecture project in your country?
Thank you very much for you time!!!
