- Dear Vincent, Thanks for the message, We were probably in the San Francisco bay area at the same time when you worked for VITA. We started our firm 17 years ago in S.F. and then moved up to Napa until 2002. My partner fell for the white sand beaches here in Sarasota while we were doing the Ritz and Marriott at Grande Lakes in Orlando (inspired by Coral Gables), so we moved the office down here. Since we focus on international resort design we could be almost anywhere close to and airport. We have a small office but do big projects so this has kept us very busy. It looks like you have some great projects going on. Can't wait to see pictures. Oh, question. Do you have much experience with native plants? We just got back from the Florida Native Plant Society conference in Palm Beach. Really great speakers. I think you would have enjoyed it. I'm all about the natives now. Go natives!
